I'm now a big Ayn Rand fanboy. I read Atlas Shrugged last week. Unbelievable parallels between what she wrote in 1957 and what's happening in our society today. Shocking really. More scary and closer to what's happening now than 1984 or Brave New World.

No amount of taxation will matter if they don't make a sensible, realistic budget and stick to it!
What we have now is like trying to bail out a sinking boat that has a huge hole in the bottom!

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

Its deeper than that... we have 40+ years of bad policy and fake growth.

The housing market bubble was fake growth, all of the fake wealth and increased standard of living must be reduced back to 90's levels, or we must become more productive than we ever have.

SOX,Dodd-Frank,Obamacare,Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act(removing glass-steagle),HUD,DHS,EPA,CRA,Fannie,Freddie,FED and all of that other crap needs to go with it.

We protecting ourselves into a depression, or we are selling ourselves out to bankers who will be able to acquire the US's assets at fire-sale prices once the realization that our Debt will never be repaid and our real GDP is negative..

guilty Fluster. I'd heard about it, but never got around to picking it up and happened to see it in the bookstore the other day when I was killing time w/ my son. Her previous book is #1 on my "next read" list. Depressing and maddening, but still eye opening.

See my post to your poll thread...one should really read Fountainhead at least two times before going into the three required readings of Shrugged.

1st time for entertainment;
2nd time for understanding;
3rd time for application.

Trust me on this.

Personally, I'm hoping that Romney will get a chance to use his experience at Bain to oversea the turn over of the federal employees that have caused all of the trouble we are in right now!
Especially those incompetent employees in the Senate!

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

maybe so, but he bought those places when they were failing. If that's what he did to get them to survive, then I say he did the right thing and also reversed years of poor management or thuggery by unions.

Why dont you name some of Barry's success's and see how short his list is before you go making lists for others.
You seem to know more about "rigin" and "mcsame" than you did about Barry.(I forgot all you needed to know about barry was that he was half black.)
