Instruction manual shows a 5mm straight cut pinion which is fine. I was looking at upgrading to slant gears. However, the century site does not give any info about slant gears other than number of teeth.

Video shows they are running a scorpion 4035 which has a 6mm shaft. I think scorpion makes a 5mm shaft for those motors too. Any info is appreciated.

The slant pinon is not 6mm all the way through...I think because it would remove to much material in the support bearing area of the pinon. In my case I had to shorten the motor shaft by about an 1/8" to get everything to fit.

Edit: I debated drilling it out 6mm through versus cutting the motor shaft. I don't know which would be the better option.

I stand corrected. Webpage does show slant gears are 6mm.

I ended up cutting motor shaft as well, thought it would weaken te pinion cuttin it.
