I doubt such a small amount of play will affect flight, maybe on a flybarred 450.60% of the time, it works every time!

I understand. You need to remove the bearing and drill and tap 3 holes 120 degrees apart around the side of the swash and insert small grub screws to apply light pressure to the outside of the bearing, this reduces bearing play.60% of the time, it works every time!

Yeah...and make the ball race the shape of a triangle.

But anyway, this doesn't look like bearing play as much as the upper piece moving in the bearing bore or the bearing moving in the lower piece.

I never said it was right to do it but it works. You only need very light pressure for it to work, too tight and you can feel the bearing get notch. Even if it does feel notch its not under any load and it's only purpose is to be able to spin.

If it is the whole bearing moving and I agree it looks like it is then it should be an easy fix.
