Read the instructions Did, 5 times
Arn't you a vario Rep.?

Funny for you to jump on the bash Align band wagon. Do you even own an APS?? Did'nt think so.

That said, there is a problem with your settings.

Have Jason give me a call and we'll straighten it out.

Rep, yes, but not for Vario. (nor do I sell parts out of the trunk of my car) Secondly I wasn't bashing Align just the APS. Align makes nice products. Yessssss there is a problem with the settings, funny thing is YOU set it up.

Jason did call you, seems he kept getting put off.....odd?
Lastly I've spoken with Jeff and Tim a number of times and both agreed the problem was with the unit and asked for it to be sent in so they can check it out.

Next time you wanna call me out have your facts straight and try using correct spelling and punctuation, better to be thought a fool then open your mouth and remove all doubt.

And to you Moonbird, this statement, really:

Whan all else fails, you need to READ the instructions. That is what happens with being to lazy to read the directions. Align deserves an apology!!

Still a follower I see.......sad.

Facts
Christofer J,

The fact is that the problem was solved three weeks ago. I guess you didn't read my post. I told you to have Jason call me and get the information.

I'd say the only fool is the one that keeps trying to reinvent the wheel. The smart ones are the ones that follow success. They seem to know when to lead and more importantly when to follow. It's like being in the woods without a compass. Some will just wonder around in pointless mannor till they drop dead. Your wandering around and bad mouthing the Align products is getting old.

Yes, you have been bad mouthing Align.

Do you think I have'nt seen your E-mails. Really??

If none of this gets through and I'm assuming it won't then follow Moonbirds advice and follow the directions.

My sister, used to try to cook. One day she decided to bake some cookies. She mixed all the ingredients
and followed all the directions to the tee including the part where it said to grease the bottom of the pan. The funny part is even though she had a extreamly high IQ majored in Bussness with honors, she greased the very bottom of the pan. I think my sister got teased so much that she never cooked again. Thank God!

The moral to the story or the point I'm trying make is, she knew when to quit and that's what makes her a genius and not just another idiot lost in the woods.

If you don't have my number PM me and we'll get you fixed up.

Oh...your unit is fine. We can't do anything till they send your prefectly good APS back.

Maybe you missed what I said.....I did read them.

Also when the unit didnt funtion properly Jeff and I went back through the set up. So the fact is when the unit you set up didn't work I knew when to follow and not "reinvent the wheel." I called someone who hadn't been crashing his or other peoples helis, and he requested having a look at the APS.

You and Moonbird can continue taking jabs at me on this, I don't care. Since you two decided insult me publicly though I thought I'd answer publicly. If you have anything else to say PM me or call.......you have my number.

First step program
This is just like others with problems you first need to realize your wrong. I can't help you if your not going to listen and I'm not going to help you if you don't call.

Chris I didn't pull you into this. Your the one making the accusations about Align and their products. Your the one who decided to make this public. You have my number and could of called yet this was your decision.

Chris, the next thing I'd like to point out is you don't even own an APS unit. Jason is the one that owns the unit and needs to be on the one step program as well. I really don't mind if you both call, then you can get the information and pass the test your failing and move on.

Chris, Moonbird and I aren't mad we're trying to help. Your the one with the insults where just stating the facts. The fact is I know what the problem is. The APS is a new unit and there is a learning curve.

Chris, all you have to do is call. Being in the forest without a compass is a lonely place. Take the first step. You'll be glad you did.

You know my number Moonbird and I have left the light on.

The Align APS is dangerous and is going to kill someone. Please whatever you guys do... do not purchase one of these. I speak from first hand experience. Absolutely the most dangerous piece of junk I have ever had the unfortunate experience to own and after watching it wreck my full ap/av twice I wouldn't have it on my desk as a paperweight. What a JOKE!! Align should be ashamed of themselves.

I've had close to 100 flights with mine, not one single issue. How do you explain that?

Surely you can't deny that success has been extremely sparse with more.... WAY more disasters than success stories.

I've seen mine do two totally separate fatal reactions. Once going hard left aileron that was unrecoverable and once went full negative. No doubt if someone had this or the other reactions that some describe happen in the wrong situation will lead to serious injury or death. Do you realize what a fully loaded ap ship weighs? Just all of a sudden going full negative is one hell of an energy release hitting the ground. Mine was like an explosion.

The facts can't be denied. It doesn't work for MOST people and when it does its usually intermittent. Consider yourself lucky.

So it doesn't work for "MOST" people? Beyond yours, how many actual failures have you witnessed yourself? Or is it because you read on the internet it must be true?

Beyond mine, I know 3 others who uses this system. I have not seen one who did this.

You frequent these forums enough to know that only people with problems will come and complain. People who are successful with them are out flying. That does not give any accurate indication of a product's failure rate.

There's no denying the safety nature of these type of products when they fail. You are preaching to the choir. But just because you hear a handful of people with issue out of the (conservatively assumed) hundreds they sell, it does not give you an accurate assessment of a product being a "junk."

Please don't take this personally. I'm just speaking my mind based on the facts I see.
