Everyone will claim that the model they are flying is the "highest quality" even though they haven't flown or in some cases seen every model out there.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but quality is what the model is made out of and how well it stands the test of time.

If you compare Chinese made models vs. German or American made models you will see that there is a distinct difference in quality as well as how the parts are made and the quality of the materials used.

Cheap Chinese aluminum vs. real 6061T aluminum is one place to start.

I believe thunder tiger makes all of there parts here.
Curtis is American Engineered, but is made over seas.
I have owned TRex 700, ENV, and TDR.

The Trex is the least of quality, but the parts are easy to get, and there are tons of upgrades to get the quality up.

The ENV is up there in quality and you will not have to upgrade it, but they have the best service around Parts are not as easy as they are out of stock from time to time.

The TDR is tops in quality, but it is also tops in price, and as I learned, if it goes in, you will have to wait a month to get parts. I had to wait two months because I did not get everything I needed the first time. Sometime parts will come quicker if customs are nice that day.

This is my two cents worth.

Thunder Tiger is not made in the USA.

Miniature Aircraft USA manufactures parts here as well as assembles and bags all of the kit parts.

For the exception of some bearings and canopy the model is made in Billings, Montana.

Even the kits that claim to be all made in the USA usually still have Japanese bearings. Miniature was this way years ago.

I guess Mike posted while I was typing.

I understand the fuel tanks for many makes also come from over seas. I forgot about bearings in my earlier post.

Yes Hirobos are nice helicopters. I never cared for the JR line though....

yes Mike is repping hard here..
he is associated with MA in a professional capacity.

Mike coulda left it at your first post..
now you are basically trying to steer the conversation based on company bias.
which isn't allowed per Marks rules.. considered over-repping.

How is showing off some bad ass CNC machines "overrepping"? I'm sure Mark is a big boy and can decide if it needs to be pinked or not without help from the peanut gallery, and it looks white to me!
Aren't you the guy that got on here misquoting Curtis about the Ballistic parts and even though he normally doesn't get involved he had to state the facts about his machine cause of all your Goblin humping? Don't get me wrong I like the Goblin too and have a 700 and a 630 coming but take a pill dude and let people show off how the machines are made! Damn..

I dont work for SAB..that is the difference. Mike isn't just a team pilot he works for MA/Heliwholsaler and makes money if MA makes money.
I pay full price for my Goblins..

As for CY..
I pulled those prices right off his site.
and even with his minor correct of 1 part I didn't need to include the difference in the full tail assembly for the Ballistic was within 10 dollars of a CF Goblin boom.
which was the point we were arguing.

The Whiplash from MA looks really good. My buddy has both the electric and nitro and all I can say is it's a work of art! The carbon and aluminum CNC machining is top notch and everything assembles perfect Not to mention it has a big presence in the air.

My Avant was pretty good, but I think the MA Whiplash is slightly better.

The SAB Goblin looks really nice from what I have seen, but I don't own one to really know how everything is.

I TDR is really nice and I wish

Align is probably on the bottom of the list, but the 700e is decent in my opinion. Like someone mentioned parts can be purchased almost anywhere so that's a big plus. Not on the high end level and I wouldn't mind crashing this one
