Thunder Power Customer Service
I bought some TP 7s 5000 65C packs for my XXtreme and they were losing power after 1 minute so I sent them in to be "tested". I followed all the procedures and they got them safe and sound. I called after not hearing anything for a week and I got a guy on the phone in the customer service department and he told me that they were "testing them and it would be 2-3 business days". I am ok with that so I wait until today (3 days) and I call back. I get the same guy on the phone and he tells me, rudely by the way, that "they are on my bench and I am testing them" and "it has only been two days and I told you it would be 2-3 days"
I guess I am pissed because I paid for the best batteries ($618 retail) with the best service and I feel like I am being treated like I am annoying them!
I have never had to send ANY battery in to be "checked" and if it takes 2-3 days for them to do that, what exactly is going on?? How many cycles are being put on my lipos????
So what now??? Anyone else get that kind of service from TP?? I have always heard good things but this is NOT what I expected at all ..........Ron

My Team ThunderPower contact has since moved on, and so I don't have a direct line to a person at the factory to call right now on your behalf. I've been meaning to call them and figure out who the new guy is, but I haven't had the time to get around to it. In the meantime, you might try contacting Bob Burns, the general manager, and see what he has to say about it. This is his email:

A buddy of mine bought the TP 5000 65C (with want 300 cycles warranty?) well after 65 cycles he had to send one back. After a week or two he phoned them up and they said they would replace with a new one, which when you think of it is good. But now the problem is that he flies these as a 12S set-up, so now he has to fly a new pack with a older pack, so what is going to happen to his older pack now?
I think TP has a good service, only it takes a little time.
