Take a break, you're trying to hard. Walk away from the sim for a week or two. You'll find when you come back to it things will work. Been there done that, so have many other on this forum.Damn that ground is hard! When's the right time to get out of this money sucking hobby?

Stop using the Sim so much, get a 450 FBL and practice your moves slowly, 3 mistake high. Do the moves repetitiously until you are comfortable to pull them off on any given day, then move onto your larger Helis and do the same. Thats how I got them done, I can do just about any trick in the book plus some I have invented.

Sim does not fly like my real helis.

Its not the sim or computor, Just take your time and do the things you can do on the sim and then try to add a little something new. If you can hover tail in, try to keep it as still as you can. After that maybe a little tail turn right and left, If you get uncomfortable go back to tail in.
Don't give up, It will come.
Good luck,

It's all about patience and small steps. I've also found that you have good days and less than good days when it comes to practice. If it's not coming naturally, some times you just can't force it. Step back and try again tomorrow.

Eventually, it all starts to click.

I am right there with you. I too have hit a "wall" this year and it seems my flying has gone backwards. Sim flying is fine but when I get the to the field and start flying the E7 I have no confidence what so ever.

So, I just bought an MCPx and am flying the pee out of it in my backyard. It is a real life sim with a reset button. I crash, pick it up, and start flying again. Millions of crashes and have only replaced two links. I am using it to "train" my instincts. Trying to get ahead of the heli and instinctively react to the heli's attitude and orientation in lieu of having to think about each stick movement (which usually means it is too late and the heli crashes). The progress is slow, but I find it much more enjoyable than the sim. The sim is simply rainy day stuff for me now.

MCPX is good practice, If you can master that you won't have any problems with a larger heli. You'll find that the larger heli's will be easier and slower.
Pucker factor is a big deal when you fly larger heli's, Just don't do anything you can't do on the sim or with the MCPX and you will be OK.

The sims is fun but you can get burn out if you spend to much time on it. Go out to the field and fly a small inexpensive machine is a lot more fun.
Take youre time learning and have fun. Youre not getting ready for the masters any time soon so slow down and enjoy.
I swear never to try that trick again! What the hell is only money!

Every time I try to practice I get so frustrated...
Scott, I've been there and done that! One day I decided to find out why I was having such trouble with the sim...it was me! I started working on maneuver I knew how to do and perfected them on the sim. Before long, the sim becames easy(er).

Give it time and work on it slowly...it will come!

scott, your not alone man. i have been on the sim every night this week and last week try to get upright backward turns and any inverted turns.
as soon as i start banking for the turn it all goes bad. i just can not wrap my head around it. i tried it this weekend up high in real life with my fusion 50 and now its a rekit. i completely destroyed it plus i busted 2 batteries, a pro bec, and Rx. $680 repair bill.
its all my fault for trying something i couldnt do on the sim but the guys at my field make it look so easy. i just must be retared or something.

Add collective, whenever you bank you lose altitude. The more you bank the more collective is required to keep you up.

Scott - Maybe we should setup a paintball day for the club.
