BEC help
Need help im planing to use CC120 HV 2 on my Goblin but have no idea what BEC im going to use, and found one that im interesting
castle_10a_bec. Do you think this BEC will work ok with my setup Vbar, JR8717HV cyclic, with HV tail servo

Man, if it were my Goblin, I'd stay as far away from that setup as I could. Going the HV servo route, just go with a 2s lipo directly into the Vbar. That is exactly what I am doing with my Goblin and all other HV servo helis.

Just run heavy duty servo extensions, two lines in parallel from a Deans ultra plug to your Vbar, and you won't have to worry about the BEC not being able to carry the load.

Some people like them, most,(I think) don't.

For the record, that particular regulator is only good for about 5 amps. The 10 amp rating it has, is a peak rating, not continuous. It wouldn't be a good choice for what you're putting together.-----
