Idle up causes swash to tilt forward, why?
My pitch settings are;..............Throttle settings are;
Normal:30,40,55,75,100................0,50,100
Idle 1: 0,25,55,75,100.............. 100,59,100
Idle 2: 0,25,55,75,100.............. 100,59,100

The swash only moves from Normal to Idle 1, I see it happen on the bench as well as in the air the heli moves forward when Idle 1 is selected from normal.
It seems the biggest movement is coming from the elevator servo.

I do have expo added in on aile and elev, the same for both in all flight modes.

radio is 11X
Bird is Trex 250 se

Thanks in advance!

Check to make sure you don't have any trim in idle up or normal mode. Each flight mode has individual trims.Xxtreme 800, TDR, 700E DFC, Mini Protos, T-450 DFC, Blade 130x, mcpx, nano

You have forward trim in your idle-up mode. There's not much else that is going to give you what you're seeing.-----

I agree, I find when I bring the stick down the heli drops faster than I want it to. I have not flown this heli much, just starting to tweak it.
Pitch Curve is different between conditions?
I thought about that, but when I go to Idle 1, I am in a hover with the stick above mid stick where they are the same.

Well, I dont know what is going on. I woke up this morning logged on RR to read your advice, while answering I turned on the 11X and plugged in the 250 to check the trims again and adjust the bottom of the throttle V, now I cant get the swash to do what this post was originally about. Ive been messing with this thing for a week now and every time i Hit idle 1 it would tilt forward, now it wont. The only thing i changed this morning was the slider to the right of the throttle stick, usually used as a kill switch for nitro birds. The thing is When I move that slider back to where it was I still can not recreate the swash movement that Ive been experiencing for the past week or so.

Looking at the pitch curve line in normal mode something seemed odd, I erased the settings that i had entered to see what a 3 point curve looked like. Now with a 3 point curve 0,50,100 are the inputs, when i move the stick to those input positions the outputs i get are; 0,35,100
The desired output i have entered in my 11X is 50 for the middle position, why am i getting 35 for an output? Looking through the manual, not finding anything in the pitch section.

Does it say 0, 50, 100 on both sides of the column to the left of the pitch curve graph?

Under both IN and OUT?

Edit: and what firmware version do you have?

If I remove the middle setting 50, leaving only a 2 point curve 0,100 the line is straight, as soon as I add the third point at 50 the line curves down and the actual output at 50 when i move the stick to that position reads 35.Blade 130x (5)

Get a servo tester, and check the speed of each of your servos. I had some cheapo MG930's on a Trex 500 swash that did the same thing, I found one of the servos moved twice as fast as the other two.Warning...This hobby is very addictive and may damage your wealth

You should also check each of your programmable mixes and make sure they are all inhibited.

how do i find out the firmware version?
Go to the system menu, and select TX SETTINGS

It will be the number in the upper left hand corner.

Though it shouldn't effect anything that low on the stick, make sure HiPIT is INH

Version:0001-0102

The HiPIT is INH
The programmable mixes are all INH also

I have gone through and manually copied the exact setup into a different model memory to see what the pitch curve looks like. It does not do the same thing, the mid stick output setting is 50 and when i move the stick to mid stick the output reading is actually 50 now with this new model memory.

You're a revision out of date but the fix in 103 deals with buddy boxing.

That was the next thing I was going to tell you anyways, try another memory location.

Wipe that one clean.

Ive set everything up the same in the new model memory the same as the old memory and now the collective and elev are backwards. The only thing that is different is in the travel adjust menu in the original program there is a +37% on the 5th line down, just under the Rudd line. the 5th line down only has dashes like this; (---- + 37% - 0%)
On the new model I made both the + & - are 100%
I cant figure out how I have the 37% entered.
