Well, cuz my stuff isnt worth anything so Im just going to keep it. Does anyone have a running OS 90/w pipe to donate?
My OS91 SZ w/ Cline & Curtis MP5 isn't worth anything, so I'm going to keep it as well.

You should be ashamed of yourself. You're like the guy at the gas station who always takes change from "take a penny/ leave a penny" jar, but never puts any in. But on a much bigger scale.

LOL I always donate to those because I hate change in my pockets. I also help people in the hobby. A few weeks ago I donated some spare stuff to a noob that needed parts that I had. I just said I would donate my stuff if something came this way. You have all just stated that 5 year old stuff is worth nothing, well fine then. I will help out a noob and give him my stuff, and I will take someones old worthless 90 that is beyond a noobs flying ability. And we can continue the cycle...... Whats wrong with that?

How is it that I always turn out to be the bad guy? All the stuff that I do to help people and I am the bad guy. I must have helped about 10-15 noobs through the years (locally) setup their machines and get into the air but somehow I am the a$$hole...... The one guy even accused me of switching out my 401 gyro for his with 2 other people in the room and my heli on the floor the entire time while we wrenched on his on the bench.

No good deed ever goes unpunished!!!!!!

Last night a helped my buddy remove the engine from his lawn tractor, split the case to diagnose the governor had somehow fallen apart and was laying in the oil pan. Maybe his GF will leave him because I occupied his time working on his crap.... that will be my fault too.

the saying was "what goes around comes around" but how many are willing to wait for the return?

fit the Raptor with the stuff I mentioned, enjoy it for what it is, think about parting the Freya if you really have to rid of it, I think you'll do ok by this plan. If you really did want to chip any of them you'd be buying a new chipper at the end of the process.

Freya would make a fair cam ship imho. There's AP work in my parts, I would use it, sorry, money is a problem but should change in a month or two.

I wouldn't really trust the newer stuff of late, you never know if its a bootleg knock off with a popular brand name etched, that's whats wrong with the market today. I once bought a factory defective rx unit off ebay that was not fully disclosed as, got it home, immediate fail on installation, $25 bucks down the drain.

You are not the bad guy. We all have times when things just seem to not be right. We give and give, do fore and do fore, and things never seem to go our way.
I almost never sale anything. After I am done with it, I give it to someone that wants it or needs it. I gave away every car I have owned for the last 30 years except one. I do this because it makes me fell good. The people are thankful and they do remember it.
When I was in the hospital with cancer. My neighbors and some of the kids that I done things for all got together and built a new deck on my house. the old one was about to fall down and they didn''t want me to get hurt in my weak condition.
Monday a young man that I gave a couple of garden tractors to start his collection a few years ago gave me one of his prize tractors that he restored. I didn't ask him for it, he just wanted me to have it as a gesture of kindness.
The kind things you do don't go unnoticed. It may seem like it but sometime when you need it the most it will be your turn.

Like I said before, I don't know you. The more I read though you seem like an alright guy. I just think that some people were rubbed the wrong way (me included) by how this thread started off.

In economic times when many people are struggling, and giving up luxuries such as this hobby, you started a thread about destroying perfectly good stuff because you can't get as much money as you want by selling it.

I don't get it...
So you are complaining that you don't get what you want for them so you rather destroy them?!?!?!?
I would understand if you decide to keep them if you can get what you want for them, but this is saying no I don't want your money because is not enough for it but I'll give it to you for free (only thing nobody gets them).
It's like having a $500 check but the bank want a commission for cashing it and they would only give me $400 and I say "no I burn it instead"

thats an exaggeration. I pretty much have to give them away and I feel that its a joke. If they were 15 year old helis with piezo or mechanical gyros and standard servos I would understand, but these are products that are still good that are still on the market. PERFECT for the beginner. A beginner doesnt need a brand new $1000 kit with the best of everything. Or like I said, good for a scale application.

When you start out racing cars, you dont go buy a $300,000 Lambo before you master a Honda Civic.

Whatever, again, a pointless argument.
