Spark Plug Question
I have a g26 engine that came with a large spark plug. I put an electronic ignition on the heli that required a much smaller plug (cm-6 I think). The larger plug looks like it would thread into the head much deeper than the cm-6. I would think the longer plug would raise the compression and maybe burn the fuel more evenly. Will the differences in the plugs have a noticable affect on my engine?

Thanks,
Harlan

I would use the original plug(preferably N.G.K) that came with your engine, long as the lead fits.Regap the plug if a wider gap is recommended.Team- unbiased opinion.K.I.S.S principle upheld here

Well you for sure you don't want to have the electrode hit the piston, so better check that. You want the same heat range also. The plug bottom should be flush with the head, so there are no threads exposed either the from the head or the plug, to get hot or build crud on.Chris
