I was just looking at the ircha website and it shows at the bottom of the page full scale heli rides in a bell 206.

please tell me this is true!

I am considering it after I get a good look and feel for the pilot and how they are going to go about doing it. Such as in a safe manner and the guy doesn't look like he pulls a flask out of his pocket between flights. Of course all that is after finding out if I want to pay a good price as well.Regards, Brandon Bartolomucci; Team Synergy; Team Scorpion; & Team Bavarian Demon; AMA# L939231

Stringfellow Hawke was a pretty good pilot, and I believe he pulled out a flask between flights.

I have always wanted to ride in a helicopter. A friend of mine was going to get me a ride in a black hawk up at Camp Ripley but now he is retired from the army.

Last year at ircha my wife and I went for a ride in a biplane, she went first. There is an airport right behind the main flight line. It was $100 for both rides. Helicopter rides would be an extra treat.

You have to remember that before they were Schweizer, they were Hughes 300s. I learned to fly in a TH-55, the military version, and they were great trainers. The MD500 series feels much the same on the controls, just a lot more powerful and nimble than the 300.

I'll take a Schweizer over a Robinson any day.

So you would rather go for a ride in a Robinson R22.You should take note on what jgunpilot said.
