Tails Got Me Stumped
I am setting up a 3gx for future use with an APS system. Everything on the install has gone great until the tail setup. I'm using a 9c as thats all I have right now with the 3 position switch that I will need for the APS. Antiquated equipment but does the trick.

Do we run the gyro in STD or GY mode in the radio?

The light.... should it be green or red for flight? Red means normal and green means HH right?

My tail just isn't locked at all. I can't even get it light on the skids before it starts to shake so bad that I have to hit throttle hold.

My tail servo is a DS8900G.

Also this is on a PCM setup so from what I understand you do not have to assign gyro to aux2.... correct?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I got my tail issue sorted but have one question. I understand that with the torque compensation, on the bench the rudder will move with collective input. What collective stick position do you use to do your mechanical tail setup? Would it be low or midstick? I have a nose right drift that I have to correct with left rudder.HALO
