I used one all weekend, plus a couple hours setup on Thursday night before E-Fest and the voltage read 4.8 on Sunday afternoon. Remember, 2.4 is much easier to transmit than 72 is. This alone saves battery life on the 2.4 TX's. Plus, it takes many AA's to make up for a good lipo.Team Synergy/Rail, Team Scorpion, YS Engines, VelTye

If you want a rechargeable pack for your 8J that last for a long time try this one

I have one in my 8J and it fits perfect. I would tell you how long it last, but I haven't had it go dead yet.

Out of stock right now but I will look at them when im ready..I took kcordell's advice and bought a new set of 4 Energizer 1400mAh rechargeables, very happy so far..Been watching MrMels Vbar videos with the radio on the whole time while taking breaks between videos and dinner lol..Radio was on a little over 5hrs and voltage was at 4.8V which was awesome..Once I ware these batterys out,i'll get one of them for sure..Maybe order one in the next few days and once stock comes in and ships,i'll put it away until I need it..
This is the nicest raido ive owned hands down..It is nice having the battery last a long time,my DX7 would need charged after a hour or so..

I'm getting at least 15 hours on standard AA's...

I love it, never have to worry about charging the transmitter, and it only take a few minutes to swap them out when the warning starts to bark; which for me is every 4-6 weeks, and cost is only about .80 cents with the Costco Alkalines...
