What the heck does "Cancelled by Technician" mean on my service request?
Horizon Hobby...Are they sending my radio back without working on it?

It looks like no one touched it since it was checked in at close to quitting time one day and cancelled 40 minutes after they opened the next......

Before getting all worked up (and posting things you cant take back on the Internet) why not call them and ask? How many times do you hear of that happening?

They're closed and the radio has been in the mail since Friday.

I was hoping one of you guys understood the message so I asked.

And what would I want to "take back"?

If my radio didn't get fixed or even worked on,I'll be PISSED....Could not be any more true.

The radio won't bind to anything.

I also put a note on there to call about the DSMX upgrade.
They called and explained the DSMX upgrade wouldn't benefit me so I said I didn't want it.

They threw it back in the mail.

If it still doesn't bind to anything...wtf?

That was the issue and I had it very clear on the request...RADIO WILL NOT BIND TO ANYTHING.

Horizon is 100+% on CS so I doubt if they did NOT..fix it, if there was an issue.
I have sent in radios I bought online and they have repaired Free of charge...(even fixed stuff I didn't put on the work order... )
Give it a chance.... You need "X" if you are going to IRCHA or a big show where there is a chance of more than 40 or so radios being activated @ the same time. If you just fly at your club or locally.. not so much..But it "can" happen

Hopefully they simply replaced some parts? Though you're right, you'd think they'd have noted that in the ticket somewhere...
