Ive done the setup one the 720 but cannot get the gov to work. did u have to do anything special with sensor to get it to work properly. What about the esc does it need to left in fixed endpoints or put into one of the gov settings.

Please post all the info you can on your setup please

(esc, phase sensor, settings on the sk, and on radio, are you using the powerbus, etc)

Have you followed the setup wizards?

I have it on a x5 using the stock gaui(hobbywing)esc using a hobbywing rpm sensor. Ive have done the setup wizard for the gov. ive my head speeds set that i want to use. Its seems to be changing to the head speed i select when Im in the skookum gov setup using my dx8 tx. When I spool up the gov is not taking over as it should I have my throttle end points set at 60 and 100 as told to do in the wizard.

First make sure when you calibrated your endpoints that you were using +/-100% on the throttle channel. Next use a linear throttle curve (normal mode 0-100) and set the throttle to Max position. Then select Max throttle in the Sk menu. Move the throttle to low and select min throttle. Next change your throttle curve in normal mode to 0,25,40,40,40. Id1 is 60,60,60,60,60 and 100 for id2. The Sk needs to see a ramp up from 0% to 40% at half stick or else it wont engage. It also will not engage and default to a Max throttle of 70% if it does not see a valid signal from the phase sensor. Its more like a failsafe.

One more thing to look for is in the live data display, make sure the throttle channel is corresponding with the % you set in the radio.

Example: if you move to half stick and the radio shows 40%, but the Sk shows 38 (for instance) bump up the throttle curve till the Sk reads 40%. Do this for all 3 flight modes. Also make sure you scale the sticks before you do any of this so the Sk knows what to work with

Ok maybe thats were im messing up i didnt setup the normal mode like that but i figured that it would engauge once flipped out of hold and went to idle1. I never take off in normal mode I just flip into idle 1 and let the soft start take over. I have calibrated the throttle end points but I done low stick first and then high as instructed by the wizard will that order make a difference. Thanks for the help.

Did you get it working? I am going to be setting one up in a few days and want to make sure that I do it correctly.
