flybarless conversion
I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I have converted my Raptor 50 pro to flybarless and am doing the setup and have encountered a issue. I am using the cgy750 flybarless controller. When setting cyclic the aileron rate does not change my cyclic range. The way I have been able make a change is do it mechanically. By putting a smaller servo horn on. We changing the aileron rate in the cgy 750 it has no effect on it. I am using the normal setting in swash type. All servos are moving in correct directions. I have the same controller on my X50 Titan, but it utilizes ccpm where my old raptor 50 does not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Brad

On a mechanical, 90 degree swash setup such as the Raptor with the CGY750, the cyclic rates are dictated and controlled by end points. The pitch channel (CH6) is a pass thru channel. Start at 8 or 10 mm from center and work from there to achieve your desired cyclic rates.

Thanks fro the quick reply, That is exactly what I had to do to get it to work. I just thought it was odd it isn't mention in the manual. Thanks again for the quick reply.

Well I finally in getting around to posting the results on my flybarless conversion. When in a hover if my head speed is above 1700 the heli shakes. As long as the head is below that it is smooth. I have tried lowering the gain on elevator, and aileron but does not help. Any Ideas? I have check the blades for proper balance. These were the same blades I used on it when it was flybar and it flew fine at headspeed of 1900.

raptor 50 fbl head
hi guys ,i have the thunder tiger fbl head conversion kit for the raptor ,which dampers can i install in the head so that they are hard dampers, the ones that come with the head are like the titan se head black dampers with the red inserts which according to thunder tiger are 3d dampers but they are a bit soft and with tic tocs it is easy to hit the tail boom with the blades, the thunder tiger fbl head uses 7mm feathering shaft also know as spindle
