Who can fix this ESC..
I noticed the caps on my esc were busted off and just hanging there in the glue..... somehow the esc still powers up, but I'm not going to fly till I get it fixed can anyone on here fix this or know somewhere cheap I can send it to.... or even explain how to fix it myself....

Dont bother trying to put them back on.
Just cut them off and purchase a CC cap pack for your ESC, solder it in as prescribed by CC.

It is basically for smoothing out power ripples. The caps act as fast charge and discharge little batteries, so the FET's in the ESC do not take too much of beating by them selves.

if you have solder skills, you could just buy some caps for $2 and make your own cap pack.

CC's is super expensive for what it is.

you want to put them in parallel, caps are opposite of resistors. (missed that on my first physics 2 exam) Someone correct me if i'm wrong please.

I have a hobby wing esc and i smashed the capicitars. I went to a electronics store and they were .50 cents a piece lol i fixed my esc for a dollar!!!!Novarossi Motors U.S.A

Just make sure you have the Neg sides all going same direction, if I'm correct, the side with the line on it is Neg- I may stand corrected? Guys???

+1000000 ABOVE! not sure which side but make sure they go on correctly! I am by far NOT a good solderer and i was able to do it. The ones that were on my esc were rated at 50v they didnt have any so i used the next step up rated at 63v there bigger but work just fine i will get pictures!Novarossi Motors U.S.A
