General Maintenance Question--What Needs to be Done?
Have the new 450 Sport Plus RTF. I have built 450's before and can wrench on them fine. But what are the most common maint. chores for any 450? Are there bearings that need lubing? What about the motor? Other than making sure that everything works good on the ground and all fasteners are tight, what else should I focus on?

Set the gear mesh properly.

Locktite all metal on metal screws.

Look the screws over every time you go fly.

Bearings can be lubed with a drop of Triflow every five or ten flights.

Give parts with bearings a turn by hand to make sure the bearings don't feel notchy.
Check your belt tension.

Check the head dampers; grab the main grips in each hand and tug up and down...play here means they need replaced.

Every 20 flights check the ball links for slop.R.I.P. Roman

Most important, if something feels different between flights or something doesn't feel right during a flight...don't push your luck! Set it down and figure out the issue...

Re-lube the one-way every once in a while.

Looking over all the screws and checking your belt for wear and tension as mentioned are probably the most important.Xxtreme 800, TDR, 700E DFC, Mini Protos, T-450 DFC, Blade 130x, mcpx, nano

As previous posts said, do a good inspection prior to flight. There are a lot of parts moving around. Also if it doesn't sound right, land it and figure out the problem. Those two things can make your wallet happier and hopefully less time wrenching on it.
