It runs fine. No issues that I'm aware of.

From my understanding it runs just fine and anyone who has one generally loves it. The regulator will provide a more constant and predictable power band and consistent run.

That being said I'm running the non regulated version and it's perfectly fine.

I have one and it is great. Once you get everything set it will set and run with no problems. It is powerful and very tunable. You wont be dissappointed.Ryan,Team JR, Team Morgan Fuels, Team KDE Direct, RCBearings.com Tech Rep

this motor is awesome but it will not tell you that it is running lean bc there will always be a ton of smoke. Make sure keep an extra eye for lean runs as it will ruin the motor.
your high should be 1 3/4 and mid around 3/4-1 at sea level

Depends on the volume of oil in the fuel.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the YS 60 until the rear bearing is proven. There will be issues.

Not to hijack, but I got a great deal on a nib limited with the powerboost pipe. It'll be going into s new build...N5C. Any special break in and tuning procedures you guys recommend with this motor? It's my first regulated hyper, and the warnings about them covering up a lean run have me a bit paranoid lol.R.I.P. Roman

Run it a bit Phat in the beginning and you'll be fine. Take your time breaking it in. 5 or 6 tanks before you start beating on it really hard will suffice. Full power will come at about the 2 gallon mark if you're careful.Part 107.

I have the OS55HZ and it has always run great! I've changed the rear bearings in it once and it has been great. Plenty of power for my Trex600N FBL.Frank_C

If the oil content in the fuel is let's say 23% which is normal for 30% nitro, you have to run the heli really really lean not to have a smoke trail. The issue is how much of a smoke trail and how lean is the engine really.Part 107.
