The GoPro has too much fish eye look. I'm guessing you used the 11MP setting which only has the WIDE FOV. You might want to try the 5MP/MED FOV next time to get a more natural appearance to your shots.

I do not know, I know that I was very high and I allmost could not see my 550.
For the post about the settings 5MP FOV median you loose a lot a quality picture, same happens with the video when you change the FOV.
Any way, Thank`s for the info

ticopage, you're correct on the loss of quality with the GoPro when using anything other than the wide formats. This is true for both the pictures and video. Scott at GoPro told me the problem is the GoPro uses a type of digital zoom to reduce the FOV. IOW, there is no good way around the extreme fish eye look with the stock lens. Personally, the reduced resolution is a fair trade for more natural looking pics and video. These limitations of the GoPro are one reason I don't recommend the Hero2 for aerial photog. It's a nice toy, but not for serious photographers.

can the lens be changed?

I know that the view angle can be changed so I lowered it to it's lowest setting which was 120 I believe.

BTW, I know sharks can't live in chlorine water but I would still be nervous about getting in that pool based on the second picture LOL
