Lipos?
What seems to be the best packs for the Goblin 700? I'm using Turnigy 5000mah 6S and they seem to be sticking out quite a bit in front to get the best CG.
Anyone have the perfect packs?

Beware that if you have to use the upper hole for the battery plate, Spyders will NOT fit...

TP's fit good, and Haiyins 5000's fit like they where built for the Goblin...perfect fit..

They all work fine as long as you take care of them wright. Some fit better than others. but I can't buy three or four packs for each Heli.that would be crazy.just go out and have fun.go back home with your bird in one piece.

I would think that you will have to move your batteries back or forth depending on your set up.I have mine out about 1.5 or 2 inch.but I have a full size vbar and a life battery running hv for my Rx.I don't use BEC.I have been flying for 20 years now and can tell this heli with a vbar is one of the best setup I have flown to date.as much as I believe in CG importance it seems like the FBL system handle the issue very well.I can move my packs all the way back closer to the boom but it will be tail heavy. that's why I move them as much forward with out hitting the canopy.hope I answered your question.I have to say this kit is one of my favorite helis.

when I think I am done I find myself another project.keeping busy for 20 years :-)

FYI.try the Lynex velcro straps from helidirect to secure the batteries will make your life a lot simpler and save your fingers.the long ones are great.I ditched the rubber bands wright away.
