I think you are going to need to provide a lot more information first. Are you using a camera gimbal, which one, any vibration isolation? Are your props properly balanced? What kind of distortion are you getting?Signature

Vibration most likely... another possibility if you running electric is camera to close to power leads.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the photo ship one cane III. It has small gromets for isolation stock. I have added Kyosho gel Pad for added Isolation. The Go-Pro 2 has no distortion, and take's outstanding stills and video. The techs at work seem to think it is a frequency problem with the carbon fiber blades. I am kind of in the business in full scale. Dauphin N3, Flir/Camera ops and the whole nine yards. The distortion seems to be focus to blur to focus and it is rythmnic in sequence. Any help is fully appreciated.

Just wanted to clarify the Crane III is made by Gaui not us. We only sell it, not manufacture it. That said the Crane vibration isolation method of grommets leaves much to be desired. I don't think it does much at all really. We've had great luck with Barry Controls ball mounts part no. 275-1N. it's the same part that DJI is now using on their Zenmuse for isolation. We have them here:

Having a rhythmic distortion like that is probably motors out of balance, props out of balance, or a combination of both. It is best if you can get everything running as smoothly as possible first but a decent mount should handle vibration like that. I would follow Photoship One's advice and try a superior vibration isolation system. Also make sure that there is no slop in your pitch and roll axes of the mount. If anything can move on its own when servos are under power, that can enhance any vibes that are already there.Signature

If it loses power for any reason, do the legs come down automatically or will you have to crash the S800 for landing ?.
