Looking for a used heli
Hey guys money is pretty tight taking care of sick mother in law. If anyone has an old basket case heli ( nitro or electric) they want to get rid of I would love to take it. Don't have much cash available right now but I would be very greatful. If this offends anyone my appologies. Please feel free to text me @ 941-224-3183.

Thank you.

Heli's are an expensive hobby, since you have been into rc cars you already know that.Even a stopped clock is right twice a day

While I can't say I don't feel bad for you, the fact is that if you can't afford to get the heli you most likely wouldn't be able to afford repairs or maintenance. Even if someone were to be gracious and dontate, or sell for cheap, a heli to you, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a complete bundle and then you'd still be out of luck in getting it flying. It would be better if you saved when and where you can and then got something worth your while. Good luck to you though as I know times can be tough.Regards, Brandon Bartolomucci; Team Synergy; Team Scorpion; & Team Bavarian Demon; AMA# L939231

Or you could start with one of the smaller Eflite heli's...they're fairly inexpensive and cheap to fix. It'll help you see if this hobby is something you want to stay with, and if it is, you can save for an investment in a larger bird. I agree with Brandon, someone else's basket case will cost you way more in the long run to make airworthy than you'll save upfront. And heaven forbid you overlook something and put it in the ground right away, you'll be out the money and faced with a rebuild...R.I.P. Roman

Get an mCPX or 130X - great flying and crash really well. A free used larger heli will likely cost you more the first crash
