Parts Weight
Where can I view the weight (grams or ounces) of Align parts? I'm particularly interested in Align 700E parts' weight. For example: aluminum boom, carbon boom, metal tail rod, carbon tail rod, etc.

I've looked on many web sites including http://www.Align.com.tw and the weights are not listed. If anyone has the various weights documented or can direct me to what web site has the weights I would be grateful. Thanks!

Not to sound like a smart ass, but if you have an electronic scale, usually the weight is displayed on the digital read out. You would view the weight of your Align parts there.

I measured the weight of the "CF" boom vs. the plain one - it was less than 10% weight difference but I don't remember the numbers. HTH

If you buy all of the low weight parts, what do you think the total weight savings will be ?

I believe that it would be hard to make it lighter to a point where you are really going to notice a difference. One way that is a easy weight loss is go with a fbl head. It drops weight and drag.Trex 700E / Trex 500 ESP - Ikon/ HD 500 - Ikon 2/ Goblin 500 Ikon 2

I don't think that information is available, at least I haven't seen it. I don't know that I'd trust it anyway. My experience is the only way to know what something weighs is to put it on a scale. Somehow listed specs don't translate to what it really weighs. I'm thinking of batteries and blades primarily.

I think they did put weights down but then the games start. They'll put a weight that includes bearings. Then someone else will come along with a part that is actually heavier but they will show the weight without the bearings installed. The honest company loses...as do the customers. Weight information is hard to come by now.Team POP Secret
