Little heads up about MCPX batteries in a 130X
I know this belongs in the Eflite forum but I wanted to tell everyone and not just 130X owners since we all are at least considering it.

I was getting four minute flights with my Nano 300mAh 1S packs in series and about the same with the stock Eflite packs from the MCPX.

Well,I'm killing them fast.
The Eflite packs are getting about 1:45 and the Nanos are going 2:45.

This is when the heli is shutting off and falling to the ground.

I know I'm over discharging them.

So if using MCPX batteries are a selling point...forget it.lol...

That is all.
I literally never use the word literally right.

Let me tell ya what I think about batteries and electric helicopters.
Flying an electric helicopter of any size is like being a 2 pump chump.
Just when you're getting started, you're finished.....

not nasty
If you want to have some real fun you have expect a little gooo.

It washes off and then you can recharge, reload and do it again and when you get done you put the canopy condom on and put it to bed until next time

Nitro is loud, smelly and real, not like those vibrating humming toys.

But I digress, we've hijacked this thread. the BLADE 130 is a cute fun little toy.

Ern, sorry about kinda hijacking your thread.
After finally getting to maiden and fly my Furion6 last weekend. It flies amazingly well just because its an MA heli, but I wasn't too impressed from the power difference between nitro and electric of the same size heli. With only a Hyper50 at that.
IMO electric is nowhere near whats everybody makes it to be. Sure its easy plug and play for people that can't tune a nitro engine.
The power is definitely more but not near enough to make a difference in my flying. I took my good friends advice and threw collective management out the door before flying it.
I have my timer set at four minutes. Really four minutes
Right before I put my Frenzy50 in a few weeks ago. I was getting 12 minute nitro flights on a single header-less tank. My good ol hyper 50 has plenty of power to pull through any maneuver I'm capable of.
3 flights = 12 minutes on a 10s 600 sized electric.
3 flights = 36 minutes on a Frenzy50 fbl nitro.
Oh well. I got one heli of a sweet charging set-up along with a porn star of electric 2 pump chump helis..

This was a service announcement...not a discussion thread.
Don't care where it goes but I am a little tickled that it went the way it did

I'm not sold on e power either and if I get one,it's simply for the occasional plug and play flight and nothing to do with power.

The good old OS91HZ-PS and Hatori are good'nuff.lol...
