N5C Cousins
Met up with local pilot Rick (ibepilot2) last night to fire up my N5C for the first time and get a few flights on his. From the outside, they are almost twinkies! I am going to have to be careful about not picking up the wrong machine or transmitter (although I did put my logo on my 8FG).

We didn't get much flying on mine, but his machine was singing along great! He is on tank five or six, but was pulling hard with no hiccups.

You have a great flying machine!

Machine details:

Mine:
>N5C with full FBL Rotors treatment (titanium links, head alignment, tail ti ends)

>Rail 606mm main and 96mm tail blades

>YS60SR

>Enya #3 or #4 glow plug

>Hatori SB-1

>Futaba CGY 750

>Futaba cyclic and tail servos

>Fromeco Kiwi regulator and Fromeco rx pack

Ricks:
>N5C with full FBL Rotors treatment (titanium links, head alignment, tail ti ends)

>Rail 606mm main and 96mm tail blades

>OS55 HZ-R

>OS #8 glow plug

>Funtech Pipe/Muffler

>V-Bar

>Futaba cyclic and tail servos

>Thunder Power rx pack (throttle servo regulated)

We both run Cool Power 30%.

One thing I was pleased to see was how his machine flew. He has the V-Bar set up well with a moderate 3D set up. Not blisteringly fast, but enough to do most things. I have flown a few N5Cs at fun fly events and I am realizing that most of them fly very similar. Some will be faster or slower on cyclic, but all in all you get the same feel. I like that. What impressed me most of the Mikado Logos was the ability to pick up anyone's Logo and it would have the same basic feel. I am getting the same impression with the N5C. This is a good thing!!!
