Align 3GX setup instructions
Does anyone have or can anyone point me in the right direction so that I can get the setup directions for V2.1?

It's easy, just 3 steps ...

Step 1 - remove 3GX from heli
Step 2 - Stomp with your foot
Step 3 - Buy a VBar or BeastX

Well I kind of agree with bkervaski but to answer your question the instructions if that is what you call them, are on the software disk
how to set it up.

Hey.

As above, step by step instructions are available in the pc software and walk you through nicely. They are also in some of the newer model manuals, should you prefer a paper copy to read.

The 3GX on V2.1 is comparable to the beastx, with pros and cons to both. So if you did ever want to upgrade your FBL bypass that unit and go to a vbar.

The 3GX has been working great for me on my Trex 450 Pro.
It is at 2.0 and it was my first FBL system.
It was easy to setup.
Finless Bob on the "other" Heli board has some videos on setting up the 3GX - but not the 2.1 software.

The 3G / 3GX is different from the "typical" FBL (VBar, BeastX, etc). Some people "don't get" the 3G / 3GX and that causes them a lot of frustration.
The 3GX is no better or worse than the others.

I have the Skookum SK540 on my Raptor 90 and it is pretty darn good. Lots of features, flys great, and very comparable to the VBar for setup. And, it was $250 all inclusive.

Watch and understand these videos....

Not a whole lot of difference in basic setup between these and 2.1.

Yeah, Align added some flight parameter controls and limits cyclic setup to 7 or 8 degrees in Ail/ Elev. That's about all I remember. I have V1.2 on my 450 and V2.0 on a 250 DFC.

These work well. They're a little more "twitchy" response-wise, but the beast x units feel more smooth and "refined" out of the box, but they work well either way. I'm sure you can fine tune the 3GX with more flights. I still like my two units.
