Whatever the Marines do, they do it well. I hate to see us as the 'worlds police', but if they have to do it, I would prefer they receive the proper training, gear, money and experience they should need, instead of the OJT that they use most of the time. That's why it's the Marine Corps!

I hear ya. I post that stuff everywhere and I always manage to get some idiot rag on my tin foil hat. I mean, I am posting actual UN links to review. This isn't some right wing dingbat conspiracy theory. The UN doesn't even TRY to hide what they want to implement. This is the real, one world government deal...and there's a bunch of people running this country that are fully on board with the whole plan.
We're so overdue for getting out of the UN and throwing them off our soil. I wonder what that would save us and what that real estate is worth??

Idiot? I retired on Nov 30, 2002 as a career Infantryman/Drill Instructor. NOT ONCE IN ALL OF MY YEARS DID I TRAIN TO GO AFTER MY FELLOW AMERICANS. MARINE.... I wasn't talking about you and I mean that sincerely. Actually I wasn't even talking about anybody on R/R.
No offense was intended on my part, especially towards a service member. Semper Fi my friend.

Oh, and PS, if you read my earlier posts (or any of my others for that matter), you would see where I say every time, I trust my armed forces people 100%. It's the cops and the OTHER federal employeees I don't trust. I KNOW in my heart that our people in uniform will do their duty and NOT turn on their fellow citizens. We're not Syria afterall.
PSS - my grandfather was a 2 time purple heart recipient in the pacific while a seargeant in the Marines. My 3 uncles served in Korea. One was a lifer in the Navy. My son served with the AF attached to the NSA in Korea. Yeah, you could say I have a lot of love for service people.

I would think the only folks that need to fear the military are folks that point a weapon at them,say in a confiscation scenario"IF" the military were ever asked to assist in such drastic measures.
