I just wanted to let those people know that do not have experience with Titanium, be careful when machining and letting the shavings build up during the machining process. Titanium is very flammable in this form. I am not a machinist, but I have welded lots of it and have witnessed the results of what can happen when it catches fire. Kind of like gun powder if the conditions are right. Zirconium will do the same in case you ever have reason to machine any of that. |
