GofastSam hit it on the head. The first shipments of anything will have some issues. It is how the company who has their name on it handles those issues. Horizon support is awesome. I got my new board today, and it totally cleared up the servo issues I was having. I stripped out the inside of the rear umbrella gear. I replaced it with a spare that came with the heli. How many companies actually put useful spares in the package?

Horizon support, of all their products is flawless, and will keep me returning as a customer. I know if I have an issue, it will be made right every time.

Flew it today had three minor crashes ZERO items broken GET ONE its fun. I can now fly and fly without worry of breaking the heli up. I have a new Trex 250 PRO DFC that I just built and sits on the shelf as I fly the 130X, if I crashed the 250 three times it would have cost a ton more to fix and the 130X fly’s just as good if not better, now the 130X is not as powerful at the Trex 250 but that’s not an issue since the 130X is so light. I plan on getting a second one that’s how much I like it.

All in all I'm having a blast with mine too!

Dyed the tail fin with Rit and have the main gear soaking now too
Little video.

Keep in mind I'm at 5400 feet

Lowered the tail gain 3-4 points as well.

I've never flown at those elevations. How much of a difference do you notice there versus flying down around sea level?

Thanks

Camera is a Go Pro mounted on my ball cap

As far as elevation, there is quite a big difference. When I go to events at sea level I generally have to lower my cyclic rates and pitch travel. First event I got a little excited with the speed and power and I actually crashed a couple

I have noticed that when some pilots come here for events they tend to take it a little more easy and seem to avoid autos

Not a real big deal but you will notice. Probably the reason I had to lower the tail gain so much.

Regards,

Nate

Transmitter ON, throttle high.
Plug in flight battery, wait for red, blue, green LED's to flash.
Each LED represents an axis, blue is rudder gain.
Elevator will cycle between each LED, aileron will raise and lower gain.
Left aileron will lower gain, right will raise.
LED flashes slower with lower gains and faster with higher gains.

It is more of a fixed point system. You can go +/- 10 points in each axis

I would just try one point at a time and test fly with some hard pitch inputs, that way you don't lower it more than necessaryXxtreme 800, TDR, 700E DFC, Mini Protos, T-450 DFC, Blade 130x, mcpx, nano
