FBL system---
I read through the past 3 ...some funny stuff

I tried an Align 3g way back...never made it off the bench before it died...but that was a LONG time ago.

I like to buy good stuff and don't have to worry about pinching a few I prefer to buy the best from the start usually...after all we are spending a lot of money to get these 700 sized machines in the matter what heli you're flying.

I think you should fly whatever you can afford or feel comfortable flying...there are a lot of bullies when it comes to Vbar ...Vbar owners are very Passionate about their Vbars

I would like to see some videos of these 3gx's being flown by average seems the 3GX gets a bad rap and it would be nice to see some videos of non sponsored team pilots having good luck with them.

If you buy a cheap 3gx and don't like it you can always sell you could do with a vbar as well...there is always a bunch of used and inexpensive ones to scoop

good luck with whatever you decide to do though..

If Allen Szabo Jr. can make a heli do all that on a 3GX or 3G, then what does that say about a pilots skills??
First off, Alan could fly like that without a FBL unit at all.

Second, to even compare him to everyday flyers is ridiculous.

I've tried units and although the BeastX flew pretty well on my logo, it wasn't anywhere close to the vbar.

Of course this is my opinion....but I can tell you one thing that is fact:

If I bought Alan's heli, the same day I would yank that 3GX off and replace with a vbar! Wouldn't even hesitate. comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!

After reading this thead

Here's my 2cents :-)

I maidened a goblin for a flying buddy.
The electrics in it are from a 3gx trex 700e, but just with a scorpion motor.

Must say I'm surprised at how the 3gx performed with the new software update.

Heli really felt dialed in. Felt as good as a beastx, just the tail wasn't as good.

Done some tic tocs, rainbows, reversed huricanes, piro flips.

I think you can't go wrong with the new 3gx firmware. and most guys out there can't outfly a 3gx unit , unless if it's problematic
