So my first flight went ok, I landed and let the motor cool down. Then flew my second flight (not ok) took it up and began to set up for a rainbow kinda fast and the tail blew out. I thought the servo died or the link popped off (no control of the tail). I managed to get it back upright panicing while it was pirouetting out of control, then it started to drift away and I start bumping the cyclic steering it back my way. Anyways, end result was a crash ($330 to fix).
While inspecing the crash I find out that the reason for the tail loosing control is the threaded tail control rod. It pulled the threads right out of the ball link . Also I find out that the one way bearing has been slipping too. It wouldn't hardly come apart and when it did the needle bearings fell out, the surface of the hub in the pic is destroyed.
