On a 30 size heli,would a 600 blade be more stable than a 500mm blade.Whats the real difference?

30 sized helis typically spin 550 mm blades.

The additional 50 mm of a 600 mm blade on a 30 sized heli would have a couple of problems. First, the 30 just may be overtaxed trying to spin an additional 50 mm of blades -- added weight and drag.

More importantly, however, the additional 50 mm of blade length would most likely interfere with the tail rotor blades. You would need to lengthen the boom and torque tube or belt.

Longer boom like dkshema said, but you will notice a difference between 500 and 550mm. More drag of course and loss in flight times (maybe 30-45secs). Definately more stable, if that is what you want, but will lose agility/heli reaction.
