X7 (4035-500) motor timing/hertz
Whats everybody running? Mine timing is at 4 degrees and 8 hertz. Headspeed is at 2100 governed (10 tooth pinion with 14* pitch) through the castle 120 esc and it boggs doing tictocs or other rapid moves. Is that normal for this heli or should I change something to improve it? 11 or 12 tooth pinion, I'm not sure.

I would personally get the 11t pinion and bump the headspeed up to 2200

Increase you timing to 12-18° and see how that works. 4° is very low timing for most motors. You may also want to up the frequency to 12KHz. If that doesn't work, drop a tooth on the pinion.

Edit: If the Gaui X7 motor is delta wind (i.e., an exact copy of the Scorpion HKIII 4035-500), then 5° is correct for timing. Changing the pinion or reducing max collective blade pitch (try ±12°) are your best options.

I'll try the 11 tooth pinion and bump the headspeed up first, if that don't help then I'll try changing the settings. The scorpion site said for that motor timing should be 5* and 8 hertz. I'm not that far off of spec.
