Just want to say hello. I have not learned this site too well yet but it looks pretty nice. Just one question, are people on here as uptight as they are on HeliFreak? Tim

Hey thanks Steve. There are a lot of good people on that other site with a lot of knowledge too. The site as a whole just doesn't seem to have much of a sense of humor. I think I'll hang out here more often if you guys will have me. I'm not vulgor or disrespectful. Thanks again, Tim

I started out on the other site. There is a lot of useful information over there but I believe you can find the same here. I hardly go to the other site. I prefer the layout over here. Seems easier to find stuff on this site. Welcome to RR Tim.

Just needed a name when I was making an account. It had to be one I could remember, so I chose what was by my computer.

Welcome to the site, I have been on here for a couple of years and seen to like this one better than the other, I have lots to learn, and I always seem to come up with a good answer to my questions here!
I also have the benefit of my flying club, It has some very knowledgeable heli pilots.
How long have you been flying and what do you fly?

Hi, I have a JR G460t Gyro on my Raptor 50, ive got it more or less spot on in normal mode with no trim on and 50% gain. When I switch to HH it drifts quite badly, probably does a full piroette in about 30sec! Can anyone help?

Thank you all. There is a Mckrackin on that other site also, don't know if you are one and the same but I like the personality. He's pretty funny on there but he seems like he has to tip toe with his words/jokes for the people who can't take a joke.
He recently said he got banned for two weeks for posting a video of a full scale heli doing some crazy stuff at some kind of show. It was dangerous flying yes but banned for posting it? That kind of stuff is why I won't be hanging out on that site much more. But anyway enough with all that talk.
Wrongler, I've been at this game for only about 6 or 7 months now. Started out with the MCX, got bored with that and was lured by the cool looking SR Huey. What a mistake, almost made me quit this hobby. I know some people still have a fond spot for the SR so I won't bash it too much. When that bird got retired to a pile of parts in a box I got a CopterX 450. I learned a lot with that one. Since I am VERY far from rich, I stuck with the CopterX brand and got a 250 (PITA), 450 Night Rig, 450 FBL, 450 EC-135, and recently got an MCPX (should have got that one a while ago). I am currently working on a, well I dare to say semi-scale project. I had a cheap 450 A109 fuselage but wanted an Airwolf so I found a cardboard cut out model and had it blown up to 450 size and fiberglassed the wings and engine cowl on to it - A109Wolf. Silly I know but I needed a project. That one will have a 4 blade head and retracts. I will work on my profile with pics if I get some time later tonight.
Thank you all again for the warm welcome!
PS - I don't usually ramble on this much, but just to introduce myself a little. Peace
