Has this company made helis before in the past?

Tried and tested helis are much more reliable.

Looks good though, kind of like a Whiplash.

The heli's designer is Charley Stephens. He has designed many helicopters before but Alees is he's new company that he's started and the Rush 750 will be his first introduction under the new name.

Thanks
Thanks ADHD for answering about the company! Yeah...Charley Stephens was the designer for Outrage up until about a year ago. He started AleeS and the Rush 750 is his first release. He designed the Outrage 550, Fusion 50/Velocity 50...you may have heard of them before!

The Rush 750 will be able to swing 690-750mm blades from what I understand. It will have a stretch kit available when it is released. It will be able to handle 12S and 14S setups. This is a quote from Charley:

Yes ours with (2) 45c 5100's is 11.2lbs

The 750 with the 5025-440 motor on the same packs is 11.8lbs an 800 class under 12 Lbs

Good Info on gears!
we have not stripped one Main or TT gear in any form of flight 3D to mild, Low head speed to Super stupid HS.
If anything had stripped it was due to a Crash or an Improper setup and not many of them

Flying we have flown this heli with a few motor types Servos and FBL units

Vbar and Beast have been tested on it
Scorpion
4035 - 450, 500, 530 (On 693's w/105, 107, 110, and 115 tail blades)
4525- 520 Ultimate (our current motor on 693's and 115 tail blades)
5025-440 (used on the Stretch model w/753's and 115 tail blades)

How does this unique looking bird run against the competitors like Synergy and SAB?...I'll leave Align out on this one.

I think it will be comparable to them. From what I have seen and read, it looks like Charley designed an affordable "upper" midline heli. Similar to the Thunder Tiger G4 720E. No upgrades from KDE needed because it has everything....and at a price point of $699 which is $300 less than the G4! It isn't a TDR or Diablo...but a solid heli with plenty of bells and whistles for the average guy to afford. I think that is a fair assessment and good for the hobby.

It balances perfect without an RX pack. The battery trays are big enough that you have several inches to move the flight packs forward and aft to get the CG perfect.

I had the Rush with me at the MidAm Fun Fly this past weekend.

Interesting. I don't see anything necessarily revolutionary with the design, but for $700 the price is right and it looks sturdy. Especially the tail pitch slider. And the Alees guys definitely know how to pick good songs for their promotional videos.Avant RC
