hi guys i have a new set of orange kbdd head dampeners which i want to replace the stock mikado o ring dampeners in logo500se .problem is kbdd dampeners are only as long as 2 stock mikado o ring dampeners (3 o rings each side standard set up)so means i have to use 1 o ring +kbdd dampener-just not sure if i need to put o ring or kbdd dampener in first.can anyone please advise which way to install these.thanks

Truebloods are similar, and being as both the Kbdd and Trueblood are harder durometer than stock, if you put the oring on the outside (further away from main mast), damping will be a bit softer. Oring on the inside (closer to main mast) and damping will be a bit firmer. Both will be stiffer than the stock 3 orings. I run my Trueblood on the outside for the stiffest head.

The above phenomenom is due to the fact that the stiffer the damper furthest away from the center of the main mast, the more resistance you have from a longer moment arm. Makes no difference in pure collective movements as there is no moment arm, but it will make a difference in any cyclic movement.

Overall i like the trueblood dampers very much and they seem to last a lot longer than stock on my 600.

Hi

I would put the 1 Mikado damper on the inside. This would avoid the issue of the damper 'jumping out' where the outside damper slips out of the head, over the spacer.
