No adjustable motor mount = fail
Hard to tell if the head actually pinches in firmyl around main shaft?

Geometry looks "better" then in past
Lots of plastic around sides and front, hard to say how this will be?

Hopefully they'll sell a bare bones kit for people that dont want the Align garbage electronics.

I'll try one likley, always do.

What are the differences between the Top and Super Combo, is it just the HV servos ?

This heli is getting very clean with maybe one of the lowest part counts out their.

hard to see from the blown pictures, but it looks like a third bearing block is incorporated in the V3.

No adjustable motor mount = fail
Is this a fact with the new kit ? or a guess because it is not listed or advertised?

Most electric models with adjustable motor mounts don't list the fact the motor mount is adjustable.

Just just thinking out loud,

Its likely you will see an adjustable motor mount in the coming weeks from KDE or otherwise.

Plastic parts...
Im guessing that someone like KDE will do a metal head block mount system for where the servos are. Maybe the Align one is black coated alloy? That would be nice.

The Goblin has probably the most impressive servo, swash, head system. Its nice how if you crack the Goblin frame you dont have to take all the servos out of the frame. They are a separate entity.

Align still looks good for the price though.

Most models don't list that they're "not adjustable" some do... From pictures it appears as their other versions and not adjustable but yes that's some assumption as its not clear and we don't have any up close pictures. Guess we'll see soon if that's true or not, if not that sucks and KDE will need to rescue them "again". I bet KDE loves Align as they seem to be real slow on having what's really needed to be incorporated into their models.

If they include their motor, I don't see why they will change that to adjustable motor mount. People buying different motor will just have to buy an after market mount.

That's not the point gears and pinions wear and adjustment is needed even with their own products.

Never needed to adjust the mesh on mine, ide strip the main gear in a crash before ide wear it out!

The Align motor is awesome anyway so no need to be upgraded.

It also simplifies the build to just bolt the motor in and your done.

This heli is for very hard 3D flight and it will do it out of the box all day long, everyday, 0 upgrades or mods needed.

60% of the time, it works every time!

You have one now??? Every rex700 I've had uP to current v2 needed something so this v3 sounds like a wheel reinvented for align!

Replaced head with kde to get proper pinch on shaft to avoid head bobble in hard transitions. Adjustable motor mount to use variety of motors and pinions and to set mesh more accurately. Also 3rd bearing block and extra stiffners to avoid stripping of gear.
