CH47-F question
I hope I am asking this question in the right section. If not, please point me in the right direction.
I know there are some former CH-47 crew members around so I need to know something.

What are the maintenance manhours for a CH-47F?

thanks in advance!!

my buddy says its a tough question to answer because its such a wide area.
there is a 200 and a 400hr maint interval and it depends on the components and such. a 400hr inspection interval can have an aircraft down for two weeks depending on whats being done.
he gave me a grand tour of the "F" models out at knox a few months ago, it was sweet.

I've seen different numbers for MMH/FH but it seems to be around 9.5 maintenance hour per flight hour for the 47Andy

Sounds good, I'll be there for sure.

All military MMH/FH are tracked. Our squadron used to win a Navy award called the Golden Wrench almost every year because of our ratio and FMC (fully mission capable) availability rates.

It can be broken down in sheduled maint versus unsched (repair) etc.
