After 1-1/2 years flying this JS TZ Frenzy fbl helicopter. I'm more than satisfied with the performance and longevity of kit as a whole.
Although it is time to rebuild the head with new dampers and bearings.
Also lately I have been getting about 11-1/2 + minutes on a tank if I run it bone dry. That's without the aid of a header tank. Gotta love the fuel magnet. This is the longest I've ever had any helicopter without a crash. Last weekend I was 4 turns on the spindle bolt from catastrophic disaster.
Anyway, here I am out flying the Frenzy50 CGY750 fbl helicopter.

Cool I bought for the second time Futaba 8fg Super and going to get the cgy750. How do you like it? What are the spec and flybarless head do you have? How did you measure you're pitch? Did you put a dummy flybar wire between button head and head? Never had a flybarless heli.

Nice flying machine.

Nice flying machine.
Thanks
I really love the cgy unit!
It feels so much like my Phoenix sim it's silly. I can't speak for other fbl units as my only experience is flybar to NOBAR to the CGY750 system.
Not sure what you're referring to for spec.
The fbl head is the stock Frenzyfbl head. Although, I recently swapped it out with an Outrage head I had laying around.
I measure my pitch with a conventional heli-max pitch gauge. Nothing fancy but measures pitch accurately as long as it's performed correctly.
It really is very easy and simple. Slide the pitch gauge onto the master main blade. All that has to be done is square the bottom of the pitch gauge 90 degrees off of the main mast for any desired pitch to be dialed in.
I've been all fbl for more than a few years now. I'll never own anything else besides the old junk I don't fly anymore. lol

Yea man I'm going to do the same thing as you. But going to use Frenzy 50 fbl. What do you like most the outrage head or the Frenzy 50 fbl head? Spec that I wanted to know what electronic you're using such as servo, receiver battery, bec and such. Do you have pic how the flybarless looked on you're heli before you changed it?

This Frenzy fbl 50 is flying with JR8917HV cyclis, throttle, and a BLS251 on the tail. SGP Reactor X2 regulator, Futaba CGY750 fbl unit all powered by a TP 2s 3300 li-po. Controlled by the Futaba 8fg super and me. Canopy painted and clear coat by me.
I don't have any close-ups of the Frenzy head. Here's a few pics anyways and the last pic is the Outrage head I swapped over recently.

Hello you ever had issue with the one way bearing in the clutch? Mine is slipping. They have the updated shaft and clutch dunno if that fix the problem. I do have the updated shaft that amain hobbies sent me due to the flat spot on original wasn't long enough for the setscrew. What an headach.
