The TR gear is hungry?

Check mesh of the two, the mechanical stuff -- bearings, anything else that might be out of sorts.

Is this an older Raven 50, or the Radikal N640?

I know this heli well, I have one, if the Main Gear is getting bad you will need to replace it, you don't need to split the Frame to remove it, unbolt the Main Shaft and pull out the Gear from the side, after you remove the Main Gear turn the T/R Gear with your finger and see if it turns hard, if it turns hard you have some work to do, the T/R Gear may have a bad bearing or there maybe trouble some where in the Tail,

if the T/R Gear turns easy your problem could (could) have started from a hard landing, but it would have had to be quite a hard landing,
after you replace the Main Gear check the Lash between the Main Gear and T/R Gear, if the Lash is really loose you can add a thin washer behind the T/R Gear to shim the T/R Gear forward, this will tighten up the Lash,, but of-course you do not want the Lash so tight there is no Lash, you need some Lash

if you have any more problems please ask on the Century Page

Take ball link off of tail servo and move the link by hand to make Sure it is smooth and not binding
Servo reversed?
Bad servo?
No gain on gyro?

check the bearings for play and check the frame where the bearings are seated for play. if you find nothing then check that the torque tube is straight and true.

then after all of that and you still don't find anything switch brands

spending time, paying attention
