Just came off the old JR radio and now using the JR dsx9 2.4,old radio was great using a 5 point pitch curve, now i going nuts with this new one, what has been done for idle up is low, middle and high are set up but having trouble with point 1 2 4 and 5,my question is for quarter hover inverted im usualy around -5.5 degrees WHICH point do i use for quarter stick, point 1 or point 2,again for upright hover which point do i use point 4 or point 5,moving the stick and guessing were quarter stick is having bad results,as there seems to be incorrect pitch settings while flying, any ideas thanx guys.

A linear pitch curve with +/- 10 degrees collective should give you what you're looking for. Pt 1 -0, pt 4 -50, pt 7 -100 and inh all others.

beating the air into submission...........cool!

Just use a linear pitch curve! It sounds like you are just making things too complicated for yourself, I don't even go into the pitch curve menu unless it is to find centre stick!
The answer to your question is going to depend on what feel you wan't around center stick and through the 1/4 and 3/4 stick ranges because 1/4 stick falls half way between points 2&3 and 3/4 stick falls half way between points 5&6.

Thanx for the replies,i managed to get hold of Rays dvd series, which is based on the JR 9303 which is almost the same as my dsx 9,the seven point pitch curve has to be divided into three parts as in a one third principle, this is what im looking for as he explains what exactly must be done on the 7 point curve, set low as usual, point 3 is set 0 degrees half stick, high is set as usual,NOW for the problem i had
point 1=inh
point 2 inverted hover
point 4 upright hover
point 5=inh
He recommends the graph must be used, will give that a try thanx
