my honest opinion is by the time your done you could of bought the new v50e and have 100 times better heli like i said its just my opinion

Anything CAN be converted. Depending on your fabricating skill level. As far as parts there is no "factory" conversion or any "factory" parts that can be used. ElyQ has just released there new V50e as posted above definatly worth a look! You might want to take a look threw the parts from the new v50e as far as motor mount ect... might give you soom ideas

I would think the process would be very similar to converting a Raptor 50. The thing with some of these conversions is you have to work with the existing gear ratios but the Raptor has been successfully converted using the stock gearing which I think is very similar if not the same.

With the Ely.Q I would try to locate one Lipo up front and move the other electronics around as it was always fighting tail-heaviness as a nitro.

I had too many .50 nitro helis going and decided to retire my Vision Ultimate but I do still like the simplicity of the design and it flew quite well FBL with the BeastX. So I have given some thought to converting it as it would be a good everyday 'banger' with it's low parts count, belt tail etc. But I have not started to look into it seriously. I might think about reviving it as I kinda miss it.
