Hey guys, just switched over to the CF frames on my 600 and also installed the metal pulleys.

Is grounding necessary with this setup? When I ran plastic frames and plastic pulleys, if I didn't bring continuity from the rear pulley to the boom and from the boom to the electronics, I had huge problems. Was hoping to eliminate this step and wanted to see what others had to say.

Thanks
Caleb

I did. I had some unexplained glitches until I grounded mine.

Do you think frame to negative on the electronics would suffice?

Never mind, I just checked and I don't have continuity anywhere I need it.

I guess it's the anodizing that's messing things up.

I used the standard ground kit and procedure for mine.

Simple, quick and better safe than sorry.

Just spray your belt with some static guard every 50 flight, works like a charm. also spray the tail blades and the main gear. I have a static meter and those areas create static.

ANY belt heli for me gets grounded 100%, even a TT heli now gets it. Unless you get 100% continuity from motor shaft to the tr shaft you need to do it.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
