I never use any ignore features. It's actually more entertaining to see the name calling and tantrums out in the open and just ignore the plaintiff "manually" - sometimes 2-year-old behavior is good fun to watch, especially when the victim thinks he's actually being intelligent and mature. I'm still getting called names online by one of our less intellectually advanced members and it's still fun sometimes.

I'm _on_ a lot of /ignore lists, however, because I make no bones about telling the truth as I see it and some don't like hearing the truth put in a frank manner. That only bothered me in one case because I couldn't get some information that I needed. Else, that doesn't matter too much to me and I generally expect it from the less grown-up members.
+100 well said and i agree !
Sounds awfully familiar. I'm sure we have the same crazy person on our ignore lists.
you too VKGT, he must have tried everyone in vegas which just go's to show crazy people are a prosistant lot !

I only have a couple on my ignore list. I really try not to use the feature because even the rudest most abrasive person could have some advice that I might need.

I have one guy on mine. I did that because i never see anything positive on his post. No valid solutions are offered just negative opinions. RR is much better now

to tell you the truth i could care less if someone put's me on there ignore list BUT when a jerk did it while i was in the middle of a discussion with other members is just plain RUDE !

another member and myself are talking about what we have read about one of the thread topics when out of no where AND apparently for no reason whatsoever that i can discern this jerk puts me on his ignore list and kills my discussion with this other member i mentioned, what an a$$ !

but EVEN after the OP's extremely rude behaviour the OP is not on my ignore list.....

Hey I put you on my ignore list not knowing it would kick you out of the thread, really I didn't care if you posted on it or not.

I actually looked back at previous posts and got you confused with another person that was calling me foolish. I removed a few names from the ignore list a few months ago, yours was not one of them. I remember you where part of the conversation but not the person I intended to ignore. Last nights post I said again another comment from this same guy that's it. back on there you go. SO I do apologize for putting you on the ignore list. As you where in that previous conservation but not the a$$ that I had issues with.

in all my time here i have but one member on my list, this member PM me asking about another member who lives in vegas that he was mad at, then he asked me if i owned a AXE !!!
I think this same guy PM'd me something similar.

I had a few members on my IGNORE LIST but I recently cleared my list to see if they've matured a little. What I do have a lot of is "Scammer" mouse over.

I hear ya spiderco..sad but some ppl just don't mature..take vkgt..this dude constantly harrased wickedclown and gave him a hard time. And this coming from a military man. To bad his training did not transfer over into civilian life. His military morals are to protect and help along those that have a hard time. Instead vkgt= Dave just harrased wc and escobar like a 12 year old on a playground..dude lives 3 miles from me. I call him out on his b.s and all he does is cower behind his keyboard...nothing more then a keyboard bully.who hides behinds mommas apron strings

I have yet to use the ignore list. I'm not even sure how it works or what happens when you put someone on the list.

I just ignore their rude behavior; wonder if they are like that face-to-face. And sometimes they're fun to read, it shows just how intelligent they truly are.

So sad.

IMO the ignore feature is childish. Then again some members act that way as well.
I don't use the ignorance feature.
Don't want to read it then scroll by it.

Well, even though the guy has removed you from his IL...I must say,it's rude to derail a thread with an off topic conversation with someone other than the OP and the only way being ignored will kick you off a thread is if the OP is the one that ignores you....Soooo......

I see a rude act in your description but I don't think I see the same one you do.lol....

Just playin but anyway....

I only use the ignore list to stop annoying PM's and always clear the list after a while.

I literally never use the word literally right.

I didn't see the thread but you said ONE of the thread topics....Was it the OP's topic?

There are usually multiple topics that have nothing to do with the OP.

I literally never use the word literally right.
