Hi all,
I have an ION-X2 just about finished. Here's where I'm at:
X-era HL-4030-3Y motor, CC Phoenix HV-110,
2 - Thunder Power 6S 22.2V 3850mAh 45C lipos,
Futaba R-6208SB receiver with CGY-750 FBL,
3 - BLS-451,1 - BLS-251 servos,
Hyperion 2S 7.4V 2200mAh 35C lipo for receiver power
and a Sahara Regulator. Do I need to use the Sahara Regulator?
The R-6208SB receiver and the CGY-750 seem to be able to handle the 7.4V lipo all right. Or should I use the regulator off the T.P.'s and Phoenix HV-110? I would like to hear any/all suggestions so I can
finish this Bird off.
Thanks in advance, Dave

Yes you should regulate the voltage for the 451's and the 251. I'm using a High Amp, High voltage WR BEC. You can feed it up to 14s which i am doing with 2 helis.. Both on 14s, one with a 7.2v setup and the other with a 6v. setup..
