Some os us still prefer nitro. Alhough this caused by another failure. Its still would be on my mind while I fly. if I crash I burn. not always going to be the case but just something I can't overcome

Try flying a turbine . A mechanical failure almost always ends in fire .

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

He did say Castle ESC and he also said the ESC is fine..."Like New" to be exact.

The battery burned up after it was damaged on impact.

Lipos burn when they get damaged. All brands...Ask Columbo about that one

Dbutz,

Yeah man that was bad. You kept your cool though. Im impressed.

I was at Joe Nall a few weeks back and I had just made my 500 Trex a flybarless with the new all in one BeastX.

On my first test flight it was flying super responsive, killer tail authority, etc. Flying like it was on rails.

Well, 3mins into the flight.. All of a sudden I had no rudder control! I was like, its not responding! Its not responding! It slam dunked...

Im pretty sure it was a servo ball link I had on without a nut on the back of it. All that new tail authority popped it out. Bye bye 500. Its back together now with a nut and new ball link on the servo head. - Lesson learned!!!

- Sorry for your loss, man that Goblin sure is tough!
Im thinking about carrying a small Fire ex. with me.

I bet your Goblin bounced back already.
