Hi everybody, I am trying to outfit my Hawk Pro with a new set of bearings when I get home, because the Heli has been on a shelf with no attention for well over a year now. I was looking at the Boca site linked from the RR main page, but they only list a kit for the Hawk II and the Hawk Sport. Does anyone know if one of these sets of bearings with come with everything I need? I am looking forward to putting some air under the rotor, but last I flew it, it had a vibe I could not get rid of and every rotating piece was changed except bearings. Is there anywhere else that sells bearings in a "kit" with the required bearings for specific models? Thanks again everyone.

I need to get a second job just to buy parts.

you will have to call them to make sure it's a complete kit because the Sport and Hawk 2 came with some bushings, and if you found their Sport kit was a complete kit that replaces the bushings that would be your best bet

as for the vibration you didn't say where,

1) did you replace the Tail hub, your's could be bent

2) if is a up and down vibration it could be that your Tail Blades need to be balanced, that happened to me once

3) it could be as simple as your Engine is to rich

All bearings do not wear out at the same time, I have found the kits to not be worth it. You pay for bearings that are not worn on the heli, but may need extras of other bearings. The common bearings to wear are the main grips, main shaft, tail shaft and clutch plus these are the ones that cause the biggest vibration problems. You can dismantle the heli, measure those bearings and check to see which ones are not smooth and order them from RC-bearings or Avid bearings. Either of those suppliers is way cheaper than Boca and you will end up getting exactly what you need for less $$$.
