Neither do I. I just Googled" Hobby wing rpm sensor" and got that hit. I also saw some Chinese shops that had them.

No, I googled it and Falcon Sekido came up. HD isn't the only place that sells them. There were Chinese shops that had them, and Hobbywing sells direct as well.

Castle changed something in the new 4.01 firmware. Only the HobbyWing RPM sensor will allow you to use a Castle ESC with the Vbar governor. According to reports from Mr. Mel with the 4.01 firmware and the HW sensor a Castle ESC now performs very well with the Vbar governor. The only issue is a not so soft startup. I believe the HW is digital and the Hyperion is analog.
